The East West Manufacturing Quality System

October 29, 2013 by Jennifer Catalan

East West Manufacturing strives to deliver the highest quality products to our customers, as quality is our most important focus. We are committed to total quality management, and when producing your part we control every aspect using our proven quality systems. The East West Manufacturing Quality System consists of a PDCA, or Plan-Do-Check-Act Cycle.

The PDCA Cycle is a four step management method that is repeated to ensure continuous improvement of processes and products. The four steps in the East West Manufacturing Quality System include:

  1. Plan - Define and develop the product. Establish the objectives to deliver the results in accordance with the expected output.
  2. Do - Implement the plan and make the product.
  3. Check - Inspect the actual results and compare against the expected results.
  4. Act - Request corrective actions on significant differences between actual and planned results. Analyze any differences to determine the root causes. Determine where to apply changes that will include improvement of the process or product.
